
The role of Dairy Futures Markets and other price risk management mechanism in the EU Dairy Industry’
Tadhg is a 2007 Scholar and is currently Director of Policy and Chief Economist in the Irish Farmers Association, a role he took up in December 2020. He was previously Head of Agriculture in AIB Bank, and before that he was an Agricultural Adviser in AIB. He is also heavily involved in the family dairy farming business in Boherbue in Co Cork. His study topic was ‘The role of Dairy Futures Markets and other price risk management mechanism in the EU Dairy Industry’. Tadhg travelled to the US, NZ, UK, Holland, Belgium and Germany in pursuit of this topic. Tadhg is a Board member of Nuffield Ireland.
