Brian Reidy is a dairy farmer from Co Sligo. Having gained his Green Cert qualifications in agriculture, then completed the Farm Apprenticeship farm management course. Brian leased the family dairy farm, and expanded the herd significantly. He then leased adjacent land to enable further expansion of the dairy enterprise. Brian’s study topic was ‘How to encourage young people into dairy farming’. He travelled to Australia (Victoria and NSW), New Zealand and USA (Missouri).
