Biography

From Ballyhooley in Co Cork, Kevin and his wife Margaret own and manage a dairy farming enterprise, which has been built up significantly over the past 25 years. He has been active in Macra na Feirme and IFA, as well as local dairy discussion groups. He is currently chairman of the Teagasc Dairy Stakeholders Group. His study topic was ‘Where to start a sustainable dairy farm on a grass based system’, and he travelled to the USA, UK and New Zealand to research his study topic.
