Biography

From Dunbell in Co Kilkenny, Eamonn is the managing partner on the family farm with his father. Their farm is mainly focussed on tillage, and also has grassland for finishing beef, fodder beet and forestry. The farm has been used by Keenans (manufacturers of diet feeders) to host international groups. The farm is also used for field trials by a number of the major agri-chemical manufacturers. Eamonn’s study topic was ‘Cover Cropping for Tillage Farming in Ireland’, and he travelled to France, Germany and Denmark to conduct study on his topic.
