Bill O’Keeffe is a dairy farmer from Kilkenny. He runs the family dairy enterprise which has expanded significantly over the past 5 years, since the ending of quotas. He studied at Kildalton Agricultural College, and then spent a year working on farms in New Zealand. On his return, he also worked part time with agricultural computers and AI, before working full-time on the family dairy farm.His study travel was to the USA (Nebraska, Wisconsin), New Zealand, South Africa and the UK.
