Patrick O’Meara is married to Siobhan and grew up on mixed enterprise farm (sheep, beef & tillage) in Tipperary. He took over the farm in 2006 and in 2014 he converted the farm to dairying. Since converting Patrick has expanded his dairy operation through leased land and contract rearing of replacements stock. He is the incoming Chairman of the Greenshoots discussion group. After Patrick completed his Agricultural Degree in 1999, he joined AIB and worked in their Strategic Development unit on Business and Agricultural Policy / initiatives.
